For me, it’s all about New York streets. They’ve been immortalized in who knows how many songs and poems, movies and books, but even though I’ve spent years documenting them with my photography, I don’t think I’m any closer to understanding them than I was when I started. They are their own kind of art, and for a photographer, all you need to do is setup the shot and take it. I have lived in New York for only five years, but I have been a working, professional photographers for fifteen years now.

About Myself:

I am very fortunate to have experienced so many opportunities. I continue to be fortunate as I experience more while transitioning from the full-time workplace to a retirement seeking to continue to accomplish and explore. Professionally I am a very experienced and acknowledged leader for multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary programs and teams in science, engineering, technology, energy, policy, and innovation in earth, energy and space research. Much of my professional life has been in blending commercial, academic, and federal research programs across a broad range of organizations and disciplines. I have often been told that my career has been unique in merging engineering and applied/basic science research into comprehensive cross-disciplinary programs across earth and energy science and technology as well as lunar and planetary programs.

Of course this has included extensive experience in leadership for synchronizing research programs and policies including staff, budgets, schedules, operations, and milestones involving academic, commercial, and federal funding/research agencies all while keeping the excitement and thrill of exploration. My career and responsibility has spanned aerospace, earth sciences, space biosciences, energy, defense, astronautics, and astrogeology. I have been fortunate to be published in research for earth-derived energy, environmental characterization, engineering earth sciences, research flight hardware and in lunar in-situ resource utilization.

I have been very fortunate and will always keep exploring!
